Biography:
Born in Guangzhou in 1941 and raised in Hong Kong, Wong was a Cantopop lyricist and songwriter. He started publishing his works in secondary school and entered The University of Hong Kong in 1960. Apart from his successful career as a lyricist, he also published his writings about his daily experience at a number of newspapers. His publications include the essay collections 《不文集》[Collection of Illiteracy] and 《廣告人告白》[Confession by an Advertiser].

Steinhardt studied Arabic and Chinese at Cambridge University and received his MA in 1983. He has worked as a translator, investment consultant, writer and editor in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Cairo.
Editor
Editor Biography:
Born in Hong Kong, Hung received her doctorate at the University of London. She was the Director of the Research Centre for Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and editor of the literary journal Renditions. She has translated works by Wang Anyi and Eileen Chang into English.
