The male protagonist returns to Hong Kong after divorcing his wife in America and thinks about the love life of his brother while watching a movie with his mother. He has never been close to his brother, but after his divorce they become friends and share the same feelings.

More recently he won the Young Artist Award at the 2017 Hong Kong Arts Development Awards, presented by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. He is now Executive Director of the Hong Kong International Poetry Nights and Editor-in-Chief of Voice & Verse Poetry Magazine. He also serves as an Arts Advisor for the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.

Kit Kelen is Professor of English at the University of Macau where he taught Creative Writing, Children’s Literature and Poetry related courses since 2000. Volumes of Kit Kelen’s poetry have been published in various languages. The most recent of Kelen’s English language volumes is A Pocket Kit. At the time of publication, Kelen had a painting exhibition Imagen de Nada showing at the University of Minho in Braga.

Wong received her BA in English Literature from the Baptist University, MA in Cinema Studies from the University of East Anglia, MA in Communication from the University of Leicester and PhD in comparative literature from the University of Hong Kong. Wong used to be the Editor-in-Chief of the Hong Kong Film Archive. She was awarded fellowship to pursue her post-doctoral research at the Chinese Department of the University of Tokyo and was Assistant Professor at Lingnan University at the time of publication. She has written and edited multiple scholarly volumes on cinema and literature, including Hong Kong Cinema and Literature: Writer, Film ad Adaptation.
