Biography:
Born in 1949, Leung was one of Hong Kong's best-known cultural icons. A versatile writer, his works ranged from poetry to novels, including《布拉格的明信片》 (Postcards from Prague) (1990), 《半途:梁秉鈞詩選》(Mid-way: Leung Ping Kwan's Poetry Collection and 《後殖民食物與愛情》(Postcolonial Affairs of Food and the Heart).

Translator Biography:
Au received her PhD in Languages, Literature and Societies at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO) in Paris. She translated a number of French literature to Chinese and vice versa, including Le dieu du carnage by Yasmina Reza and La Maladie de la Mort by Marguerite Duras. She is now teaching at Hong Kong Baptist University.

Living in Hong Kong since 1981, Gerard Henry is the chief-editor of the bilingual (French and Chinese) cultural magazine Paroles and also Deputy Director of Alliance Française de Hong Kong. He was a member of the team at the origin of The French May Festival in Hong Kong.

Editor Biography:
Annie Curien is a French sinologist renowned for her academic interest in Contemporary Chinese and Sinophone Literature. She has translated works by Chinese writers such as Han Shaogong and Li Rui. She founded the programme Atelier Littéraire Bipolaire to promote literary exchanges between French and Chinese literati. Her publications include Hong Kong: Approches littéraires.
