Biography:
Born in Guangzhou in 1978, Tang came to Hong Kong at the age of 9. She received her BA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and her master's degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is currently a writer and a columnist for a number of local newspapers. Her publications include the poetry collection《不曾移動瓶子》[The bottle that never moves].

Translator Biography:
Born in Scotland, Holton spent his early years in Nigeria. He studied Chinese at the universities of Edinburgh and Durham. He taught at a number of universities in the UK, and taught translation for ten years at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He began publishing his Scots translations of the classic Ming novel Shuihu Zhuan (Water margin) in 1981, and is currently the only publishing Chinese-Scots translator in the world.

Born in Hong Kong in 1953, Cheung taught at a number of universities, specialising in Literature and Translation Studies. Her translations of Chinese literature into English include Han Shaogong’s Homecoming? and numerous works of Hong Kong poets such as Leung Ping Kwan. She also co-edited anthologies including An Oxford Anthology of Contemporary Chinese Drama and Hong Kong Collage: Contemporary Stories and Writing.

Born in Hong Kong, Hung received her doctorate at the University of London. She was the Director of the Research Centre for Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and editor of the literary journal Renditions. She has translated works by Wang Anyi and Eileen Chang into English.
