Born in Hong Kong in 1966, Leung became a teacher after graduating from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He co-founded the bookstore East Coast in 1999. His publications, including 《夢想國飛翔》(Flying in the Dream Country) and 《漆咸道22P──詩選我們》(22P Chatham Road: Our Collection), have won a number of awards.

FUNG, Mary M. Y. 張曼儀

Female

Fung started writing creatively in secondary school. After her postgraduate studies at Columbia University, she returned to the University of Hong Kong to teach translation and contemporary literature. She co-founded and edited a number of literary journals. Bian Zhilin's poetry sparked her interest in modern poetry, and she began to translate poetry into English after moving to Canada in 1994. She also translated works by Hong Kong writers including Wu Yin-ching and Wong Leung-wo.

CHEUNG, Martha 張佩瑤

Hong Kong

Born in Hong Kong in 1953, Cheung taught at a number of universities, specialising in Literature and Translation Studies. Her translations of Chinese literature into English include Han Shaogong’s Homecoming? and numerous works of Hong Kong poets such as Leung Ping Kwan. She also co-edited anthologies including An Oxford Anthology of Contemporary Chinese Drama and Hong Kong Collage: Contemporary Stories and Writing.

HUNG, Eva 孔慧怡

Hong Kong

Born in Hong Kong, Hung received her doctorate at the University of London. She was the Director of the Research Centre for Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and editor of the literary journal Renditions. She has translated works by Wang Anyi and Eileen Chang into English.
