Synopsis:
This is a story about a research assistant trying to fax a paper he has written about transcendence. His relationship with the fax machine starts off perfectly fine, and as he falls in love with the machine, and anticipates the reply from his French co-worker, he gets distracted by a huge pile of advertisements coming from the fax machine. Despite his exquisite ministrations to the machine, it eventually fails him.
