Biography:
Born in Hong Kong in 1972, Choi received his Diploma in Chinese Studies from the City University of Hong Kong. He served as an editor of the Hong Kong Daily New and the magazine Amoeba. His poems have been published in a number of literary magazines and his publications include the poetry collection 《停屍間》[Morgue].

Born in Australia in 1961, Patton received his PhD from Melbourne University. He currently works as a freelance literary translator and teaches Chinese language and translation at the University of Queensland. He also co-edits the China domain of Poetry International Web with the Chinese poet Yu Jian.

Pollard served as Professor of Chinese at the University of London from 1978 to 1988 and Professor of Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 1988 to 1997. He has written extensively on modern Chinese language and literature as well as on aspects of translation. Among his translations are The True Story of Lu Xun and Zhou Zuoren: Selected Essays.
