Biography:
Born in Hong Kong in 1946, Wong received his PhD in East Asian Studies from The University of Toronto in 1992. During his college years in the 1970s, he co-founded the poetry club 詩風社 [Shi Feng She]¸ and its magazine. He has published a number of poetry and essay collections. He was Chair Professor of Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong until his retirement.

She has taught at the University of Hong Kong, the University of Stockholm, Lingnan College and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. While she lived in Sweden, she also freelanced as a translator and interpreter for international bodies and public institutions.
