Biography:
Born in Hunan in 1948, Chung received her education in Hong Kong. She served as an editor of the literary journal 《大姆指》[Big Thumb] and Su Yeh Publications, before she started her professional career as a writer. Her publications include 《解咒的人》(The curse-breaker), which has been awarded the Hong Kong Biennial Awards for Chinese Literature (Essay).

Born in Australia in 1961, Patton received his PhD from Melbourne University. He currently works as a freelance literary translator and teaches Chinese language and translation at the University of Queensland. He also co-edits the China domain of Poetry International Web with the Chinese poet Yu Jian.

Ip received her BA and MPhil in Translation from the University of Hong Kong. She joined the Research Centre for Translation, The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2003 and served as Managing Editor of its magazine Renditions. Her research focuses on the translations of traditional Chinese literature into English and German.
