Biography:
Born in Guangdong in 1944, Wan moved to Hong Kong at the age of five and received university education in Taiwan. He attended the International Writers' Workshop at Iowa and obtained his master's degree there. His experience of the Anti-war movement and Diaoyu Islands dispute transformed his poetic style, making it more realist. His publications include the posthumous collection 《香港文叢：溫健騮卷》[Hong Kong Literature: Poems by Wan Kin-lau].

She joined the Research Centre for Translation, The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2003 and served as Managing Editor of its magazine Renditions. Her research focuses on the translations of traditional Chinese literature into English and German.
