Biography:
Born in Hong Kong in 1948, Ng received her BA and MA from The University of Hong Kong and her doctoral and law degrees respectively from the universities of Boston and Cambridge. She worked at Ming Pao in the 1980s and is now regularly publishing her articles on political development in Hong Kong on South China Morning Post. Her essay collections include 《容身處》(A place of one's own) and 《我思.我在》(I think, I am).
