Description | In this bookplate, I want to show the different Chinese traditional motifs. Since we always see the sculptures of Chinese lion outside the temples, I think the lion is definitely one of the significant features of Chinese motifs. In the middle, there are a ball and two lions, which symbolizes luck and the peonies at the back symbolizes wealth. On the side of the circle, I have put the motif of long living. Also, I use blue ink to draw the thin lines to create the style of Chinese blue and white porcelain. (The text is provided by the student) |
