無危。曾經在香港有野生種群的鳥種。有獨特藍咀。成鳥栗褐色和黑色配搭。幼鳥整體泥褐色。叫聲是聲的"peep peep"。主要見小群在沼澤低地,稻田和大片蘆葦。
Least Concern. Previously established feral species. Distinctive blue bill. Adult has chestnut brown and black plumage. Juvenile overall earthy brown. Call is shrill "peep peep". Mostly found in small flocks in swampy lowlands, ricefields and reedbeds.
