Least Concern. Spring and Autumn Passage Migrant, Winter Visitor. Bunting with thick pale yellow supercilium and submoustachial stripe, chestnut cheeks, black malar stripe extends to the breast. Upperparts pale yellowish brown, with thick black and brown streaks. Underparts pale yellowish brown, with dark stripes forming a band on upper breast. Grey bill and pink legs. In winter, found in scrubby grasslands.
