無危。冬候鳥。大型黑色秧雞，咀及額板有鮮明白色。腳呈暗綠色。常成群出現。見於后海灣一帶池塘。
Least Concern. Wmter visitors. Large-sized rail in black plumage, and with contrasting white bill and forehead. Legs dark green. Gregarious. Found in ponds around the Deep Bay area.
