近危。春及秋季過境遷徙鳥，冬候鳥。中型涉禽，較斑尾塍鷸小。 腳長，嘴直而長，尖端黑色。尾羽白色，末端有寬闊黑色橫帶。繁殖羽頸及胸橙棕色，背部灰褐色且有黑、棕色斑紋。非繁殖羽全身偏灰。見於后海灣一帶泥灘。
Near Threatened. Spring and Autumn Passage Migrant, Winter Visitor. Medium-sized wader. Smaller than Bar-tailed Godwit. Long legs. Bill long and straight with black tip. Tail white with broad black terminal band. Neck and breast turn orange brown in breeding plumage, with black and brown patches on back. Generally grey in non-breeding plumage. Found in mudflats around the Deep Bay area.
