無危。春及秋季過境遷徙鳥。修長的中型猛禽，頭頂由淺至上體較深的褐色，灰頰、眼淺色、喉白色，深色鬚紋和下頦紋，胸部佈滿褐和白色的條紋，尾羽有三條深色間條紋。見於海上，島嶼，山頂和各種林地。
Least Concern. Spring and Autumn Passage Migrant. Medium-sized and slim-bodied, upperparts deep brown. Grey cheeks, pale eye and white throat, dark sub-moustachial and mesial stripes, white and brown stripes on belly, three brown bars on tail. Found in open seas, islands, hilltops and a wide range of wooded and semi-wooded habitats.
