無危。春及秋季過境遷徙鳥。頭和胸部黑白斑駁，嘴短，腳短呈橙色。繁殖期上體變成黑、白和紅棕三色，非繁殖羽和幼鳥上體均偏褐色。見於后海灣一帶泥灘和開闊地。
Least Concern. Spring and Autumn Passage Migrant. Distinctive mix of black and white on head and breast. The short bill and short orange legs are easily distinguishable. In breeding plumage shows black, white and rufous on upperparts, which is brownish on non-breeding and juvenile birds. Found in mudflats and open areas around the Deep Bay area.
