中杓鷸

Numenius phaeopus
無危。春及秋季過境遷徙鳥。外型與白腰杓鷸相似，但體型較小，向下彎的嘴亦較短。上體深灰褐色有白色斑點，頭頂有深褐色粗側冠紋。飛行時腰部白色。主要見於后海灣一帶泥灘和開闊地。
Least Concern. Spring and Autumn Passage Migrant. Resembles Eurasian Curlew but smaller in size, with shorter decurved bill. Upperparts dark greyish brown with white spots. Prominent dark brown lateral crown stripes. Shows white rump in flight. Mainly found in mudflats and open areas around the Deep Bay area.
