無危。春及秋季過境遷徙鳥，冬候鳥。身體具保護色，主要呈灰褐色，滿佈斑點，腹部顔色較淡。嘴尖而黃色，有深色貫眼紋。中央冠紋黑色，延伸至背部。形態古怪像塊枯葉，能將頸部大角度扭曲。見於開闊田野
Least Concern. Spring and AutmunPassage Migrants and Winter Visitors. Camouflaged body brownish grey and mottled, with paler belly. Bill yellow and pointed. Dark eyestripes. Dark central crown stripe extends to the back. Odd appearance like a dead leaf, often twists the neck to large angles. Found in open areas close to cover.
