無危。春季及秋季遷徙鳥，冬候鳥。小型秧雞。嘴短而黑。上體褐色，臉至胸部紅棕色，喉部淡色，下腹黑白色橫紋相間，腳紅色。見於濕地。
Least Concern. Spring and Autumn Passage Migrant, Winter Visitor. Small rail. Bill short. Brown upperparts, face to breast brownish red, throat pale in colour. Lower belly has fine black and white barring, red legs. Found in the wetlands.
