無危。留鳥。外形獨特。嘴紅而較粗，嘴尖偏黃，下體黃色，喉及胸部帶紅色。叫聲通常較嘈吵。經常小群出現，見於茂密竹林中。
Red-billed Leiothrix Least Concern. Resident. Very distinctive. Thick red bill and yellowish tip. Underparts yellow with red tinge on throat and breast. Wing panels red and yellow. Call usually a noisy chatter. Often in small flocks. Found in dense bamboo thickets.
