小鴉鵑

Centropus bengalensis
無危。留鳥。外型和褐翅鴉鵑相似，但較小。嘴和腳黑色，虹膜紅色。全身黑色，但翅膀和上背栗色。非繁殖期和幼鳥淡褐色，全身佈滿深色斑紋。鳴聲為急促的「谷谷」聲。見於茂盛的灌叢地區，以及樹木疏落的山邊。
Least Concern. Resident. As Greater Coucal but smaller. Bill and legs black, and iris red. Black except chestnut wings and mantle. Non-breeding and juvenile are pale brown with dark stripes all over. Call a tight series of “hoot hoot hoot”. Found in overgrown scrubby areas and hillsides with scattered trees.
