無危。留鳥。中型猛禽。飛行時可見飛羽及尾端有淺色橫帶。獨特冠羽。盤旋時翅膀呈淺「V」形，亦時常發出多節嘯聲，遠處也能聽見。常見於林地上空。
Least Concern. Common residents. Medium-sized raptor with white bands on wings and tail edge in flight. Juveniles are paler in colour. Distinctive crest. V-shape profile in flight. Whistling calls can be heard at a long distance. Commonly found flying above woodlands.
