Least Concern. Spring and Autumn Passage Migrant, Winter Visitor, resident. Plumage consists of black, white and grey. Long-tailed. Grey upperparts more prominent in winter. Variable plumage colors. Race leucopsis (commonest): complete white face with no eyestripe. Found in open areas or around river channels.
