無危。冬候鳥，留鳥。香港最常見猛禽，深褐色為主。初級飛羽像手指般分開。尾末端開叉。飛行時可見翼部起角。常見於天空盤旋。
Least Concern. Winter Visitors and Common Residents. The commonest raptor in Hong Kong. Mainly dark-brown in colour with "finger-like" primaries at wing tip. Distinguished by its slightly forker tail. Long angular wings shown in flight. Commonly found soaring high in the sky.
