無危。留鳥及偶見鳥。大型鵯類。頭部褐色，深色冠羽短而尖，上體、翼及尾部橄欖色，喉部白色，有黑色縱紋，下體淡褐，胸部有少量縱紋。見於高海拔開闊林地(>1000m).
Least Concern. Resident and Occasional Visitor. Large bulbul. Brownish head, chestnut crest with short and spiky crest. Upperparts, wings and tail olive green. Throat white with brown streaks. Underparts white, lightly streaked on breast. Found in open woodland in upland areas(>1000m)
