無危。春及秋季過境遷徙鳥，夏、冬候鳥。頭及上體深色而帶藍色光澤，額和喉部紅褐色，胸部有時沾黑，腹至尾下覆羽白色。飛行時有明顯長叉尾，近尾端有白斑。嘴闊黑色，雛鳥嘴明顯黃色。常見於市區, 開闊原野和濕地.
Least Concern.Spring and Autumn Passage Migrantsm, Summer and Winter Visitors. Head and upperparts dark glossy blue, forehead and throat reddish brown, dark bar on breast. Belly to undertail coverts white. In flight, the long forked tail shows white bars near the end. Broad black bill, yellow on chicks. Commonly found in urban areas, open areas and wetlands.
