無危。冬喉鳥，留鳥。上體栗褐色，頭頂黑色，有少許冠羽，嘴和腳黑色，翼、腰及尾羽深褐色。喉部及下體白色，與上體對比鮮明。見於濃密灌叢和樹冠層密封的林區.
Least Concern. Winter Visitors, Common Residents. Bright chestnut upperparts, with black crown and crest. Bill and legs black. Wing, rump and tail dark brown. Throat to underparts white, in good contrast with the upperparts.Found in dense thickets and close-canopied woodland.
