無危。留鳥。全身褐色有細緻黑紋，眼圈及眼眉明顯白色，嘴和腳黃色。不易觀察，叫聲悅耳多變。 十分普遍的籠養鳥。見於林地, 開闊原野及市區
Least Concern. Common Residents. Brown body with fine black streaks. Prominent white eyering and eyebrow. Yellow bill and legs. More often heard than seen. Melodious whistling calls account for it’s popularity as a cagebird. Found in woodland, open areas and urban areas.
