無危。冬夏候鳥。小型鷺鳥。全身灰色，有淺灰色簑羽。幼鳥上體灰褐色，下體有褐色細紋。見於溪澗等濕地。
Least Concern. Summer and Winter Visitors. Small ardeid. Grey overall, with light grey plumes. Juvenile is dull brown above and heavily streaked below. Found in wetlands such as streams.
