無危。春及秋季過境遷徙鳥，冬候鳥，留鳥。全身偏褐，下體較淡，胸前有深色細縱紋，嘴淡黃色，腳淡紅色。腳長，後爪亦較長，可以此和其他鷚區分。靜立時站姿挺直。叫聲為高音單節的「chich…」聲。見於開闊田野, 尢其是草地.
Least Concern. Spring and Autumn Passage Migrant, Winter Visitor, Resident. Overall tawny brown. Underparts pale, narrow and dark streaks on breast. Bill pale yellow, legs pale red. Distinctive long legs and long hind claws. Erect posture at rest. Call a high-pitched single note “chich…”. Found in open country, particularly grassy areas.
