無危。留鳥。中型猛禽。雄鳥深灰褐色為主，胸腹有橫紋。飛行時翅膀短圓，次級飛羽向外展出，尾下有明顯白色覆羽。雌鳥及幼鳥羽色偏褐。見於林地。
Least Concern. Common Residents. Medium-sized raptor. Adult is dark greyish brown with brown stripes on breast and belly. Round wings, bulging secondaries and prominent white undertail coverts are shown in flight. Female and juvenile are brownish in colour. Found in woodlands.
