YELLOW FACED TIGER (Synopsis)
An American Chinese, Huang, and a Black American, Blackie, are policemen in San Francisco. Huang is called the yellow faced tiger because of his advanced martial arte and his hot temper. One day, Blackie is ambushed by thugs that he had offended in his duty. Huang, in an attempt to save his friend, kills one of the thugs. Because of this, he is dismissed by his superior, Newman. After serving sentence for a year, Huang works in a Chinese restaurant, but still keeps in touch with Blackie. One night, while chasing some bankrobbers, Blackie is killed in the backyard of a Chinese called Chu. The next morning, Newman has Chu arrested, and forces him to sigh his plea.
Meanwhile, Huang starts investigating into Blackie's death, and finds that Newman is actually a member of a criminal gang. He kills Newman, and warn Chu's defending lawyer; but the boss of the gang has the lawyer murdered, and tries to recruit Huang, into his gang. The commissioner of police also finds out about Newman's identity, and decides to take up the case personally.
Hoping to save her parents, Chu's daughter, Betty, promises to marry his boyfriend Paul, who is also the son of the gangsters's boss. When the two go to the boss's house, the boss wants to rape Betty, which leads to a fight between Paul and the boss. Betty takes the opportunity to escape, and asks for help from Huang. Led by Betty, Huang and the commissioner go to the boss's house, and have him arrested. Seeing Huang's ability, the commissioner allows Huang to join the police force again.
