  • The architrave-style apron is adorned with a scrolling pattern along its edges, set into the upper crosspieces of curved wood at the top of the back leg, and secured underneath by two low mortise and tenon joints connecting the seat to the tray. The armrests are affixed in a similar fashion beneath on both sides.
  • The rounded head's two ends are linked to the upper back leg by a sleeve tenon, which extends through the chair tray to form the back leg's foot. The round armrests are attached to the upper back leg with floating shoulder tenons, while their front ends connect to the curved pillars of the front legs via a series of tenons.
  • The tray is constructed with a mitered corner joint, featuring a slim, flat line that flows from the tray's edge to its base, and is complemented by a soft mat frame. An apron with lattice-shouldered detailing, echoing the chair's back design, is affixed to the seat's underside, joining at the top to the bottom of the tray and set into the legs and feet on both sides. The front legs and feet showcase brass plates, with the underside enveloped by a simple frame. The remaining three sides are finished with a blend of square footrims, with the left and right sides sporting unadorned aprons.
