Early Qing Period
Brazier Stand
Cocobolo (Huanghuali)
63.5×63.5×77.5 cm

  • The stand's surface features mitered corner joints and has four rounded side panels with circular openings to accommodate a bronze basin.
  • It has two horizontal braces in the middle that can hold drawers. The first layer of horizontal braces and the bottom surface of the drawer's face are each supported by two through tenons. There are four drawers in total, each ornately decorated with chrysanthemum patterns and ruyi cloud-patterned pendants.
  • The lower horizontal brace seamlessly connects to the legs with rounded corners. The base is supported by cross lap joints, ensuring a sturdy and well-structured design. The square legs are slender, elegantly shaped like horse hooves, with smooth lines.
