秋霞（本事）

　　李秋霞幼患心疾，經其父李伯豪之好友方醫生診斷証實爲先天性不良心漏症，李伯豪爲免妻子曉婷擔憂，故未將實情吿知。

　　由於伯豪向對秋霞特别呵護，因而引起幼女秋雲不滿，對秋霞甚爲冷淡，並不時加以嘲諷，秋霞溫婉，强忍之。

　　秋霞在中學畢業的舞會上認識了韓國華僑馬國輝，彼此印象深刻，並獲國輝介紹往其任敎之聾啞學校任音樂敎師。

　　方子良乃方醫生之子，自幼與秋霞姊妹爲鄰，一起長大，子良一向心屬秋霞，惟秋霞則以姊弟之情待之。秋雲對子良向芳心暗許，但子良對她甚爲冷淡

　　某日，秋雲被父呵責，心感不樂，秋霞欲加解慰，不料秋雲大力推門壓着秋霞手指，致使她痛澈心脾，倒地不醒，適子良至，乃驅車載秋霞往乃父診療所，方醫生發覺秋霞健康有異，立即驗血並照X光，診斷結果認爲其心病開始發作。

　　伯豪聞秋霞只有半年壽命，頓時呆若木雞，沉痛不已，迫不得已將秘密吿知太太，曉婷更悲痛欲絕，並怪責伯豪對她隱瞞多年。

　　方子良邀秋霞聯名參加歌唱比賽，但秋霞只答允代他寫曲。

　　秋霞透露希望能淸靜一下不受干擾地寫曲，伯豪借得一幽美别墅，讓秋霞安心寫曲並囑曉婷留下照顧女兒。

　　秋霞專心寫曲，但仍返校授課，她與馬國輝已情到濃時，彼此互許愛意。

　　秋霞無意間獲訊自己身患絕症，心如刀絞，幾乎不支。她希望臨終時與秋雲和好，乃坦吿秋雲她深愛國輝，秋雲聞訊釋然，姊妹情油然重生，秋雲要求秋霞答允與子良聯名參加比賽，免他情緒不安，秋霞愛妹，只好答應。

　　秋霞不忍加添國輝日後哀痛，特意對國輝冷淡，並呈辭職信，又故意與子良親熱好絕國輝之念。國輝果誤秋霞變志，亦悲憤辭職，返回韓國。

　　比賽之夜，國輝之表妹瑪莉也到塲參觀，並在秋雲面前冷嘲秋霞變心而氣走國輝。秋雲大爲不悅，又見秋霞在領獎台上吻了子良，更加深誤會。

　　秋雲氣忿返家，將秋霞心愛之衣物撕毁，却無意中翻閱秋霞日記，始知她用心良苦。秋霞至，見她抱日記流淚，明白一切，姊妹相擁痛哭。

　　聖誕假期，伯豪擧家出國旅行，步出機塲，見國輝迎面來，驚喜交集，惟是她的生命已到盡頭，終於在歡樂聲中含笑倒逝國輝懷中。

"CHELSIA MY LOVE"

Synopsis

　　For many years, Mr. Lee has been keeping a secret from his wife and two beautiful daughters — that his elder daughter Chelsia is having some serious heart trouble. Only his good friend, Dr. Fang who made the diagnosis, knows about it.

　　Mr. Lee has been particularly protective to Chelsia, only to be resented by his younger daughter Chelwin. Out of spite, Chelwin has been treating Chelsia less than kindly.

　　Chelsia meets Ma from Korea at her middle school graduation ball. The two gradually fall in love. Ma introduces Chelsia to teach music at his School for the Deaf and Mute.

　　Dr. Fang's son who grows up with the sisters is very fond of Chelsia but his affection is not returned. On the other hand, Chelwin loves young Fang. Her affection is not returned either.

　　One day Chelwin is scolded by Mr. Lee. She slams the door in anger, accidentally hurting Chelsia's fingers. Chelsia faints. Dr. Fang has a thorough examination and sadly decides Chelsia has only six months to live. Mrs. Lee is finally confronted with the sad news but they still keep the secret from their daughters.

　　Chelsia wants to have a quiet place to write musical scores for young Fang's singing competition. Mr. Lee rents a beautiful villa for her. Mrs. Lee stays with her. Chelsia and Ma discover that they love each a other very much.

　　By accident, Chelsia learns about her sickness. She wants to be on the best of terms with Chelwin so she tells her sister she is in love with Ma not young Fang. The reconciliation between sisters is heart warming. Chelwin requests and Chelsia agrees to take part in the contest with young Fang.

　　At the same time, Chelsia wants to make Ma forget about her. She pretends to be on good terms with young Fang, ignoring Ma consistently. She resigns from school. A frustrated Ma also resigns and returns to Korea.

　　At the night of the competition, Ma's cousin accuses Chelsia of being cruel to Ma. Chelwin is extremely unhappy when Chelsia kisses young Fang after receiving the award. Chelwin rushes home to vent her anger on Chelsia's clothing. She finds Chelsia's diary and finally realises what is happening to her sister. Therefore, when Chelsia comes home, a weeping Chelwin rushes into her arms.

　　It's Christmas time. Mr. Lee and his family are travelling. Chelsia is overjoyed to see Ma greeting her at the airport. The hour has arrived. With a smile on her mouth corner, Chelsia dies in Ma's arms.
