烈日狂風（本事）
李大業是個殘暴的大魔頭，仗着軍閥為後台，强姦良家婦女、殺人、運毒無所不為。他帶着大隊人馬，經過風沙灣，在小客棧中歇息，看見了店家女薛玉蓮，美貌如花，色心大起，但在强姦不遂之後，却獸性大發，殺了玉蓮及其全家，揚長而去。
玉蓮的哥哥薛漢靑囘到客棧，目睹慘狀，悲憤交集，决為父母及妹妹報仇，來到附近的市鎭，正是踏破鐵鞋無覓處，得來全不費功夫，他遇到了李大業的手下，正在欺侮一個弱質女子鄭翠鳳，以翠鳳父親欠他們一筆債，硬要拉翠鳳去當娼，漢靑路見不平，拔刀相助，救了翠鳳，在翠鳳口中，得知來人正是李大業的爪牙。
於是，薛漢靑單刀赴會，闖進李大業的公館，直取大業。然而李大業旣是地方惡霸，手下頗有一批能人異士，更且擁有手槍，漢靑受了槍傷，逃囘翠鳳家，翠鳳感激他相救之恩，便悉心護理他的傷勢，並暫時遷往他處，以避鋒頭。
漢靑一心希望能夠找到一筆巨欵，以便翠鳳父親還債，解决翠鳳的困難，到鎭上的賭館去碰碰運氣。這賭館原是設着騙局，但是漢靑眼明手快，大「殺」四方，騙徒無所施其技，只得由館主和他對賭。這館主精明能幹，知道漢靑並非平凡之輩，讓他一局，漢靑便贏了大筆錢，準備囘家，館主陳俊，派人跟踪，調查漢靑的來歷。
原來，陳俊是受李大業新近賞識的武功高手，他主持的賭館，也是李大業的產業。跟踪的結果，李大業手下意外得知翠鳳下落，乘漢靑不備，把翠鳳搶去，送到李大業開設的妓院「溫香院」去。
「溫香院」有名妓花小紅，心儀陳俊，現在知道陳俊竟做了李大業的幫兇，助紂為虐，甚為憤恨。但陳俊却來託她小心照料翠鳳，暗示他投大業，實在事非得已。他眞正的身份，是南方政府特派員，奉命來搜集大業證據，以便拘捕歸案。但現在薛漢靑對他的誤解頗深，認為陳俊阻撓他取李大業性命報仇，有意和他為難。
恰巧這時大業欲納翠鳳為妾，陳俊把内幕告訴漢靑，並透露自己身份，邀請協助生擒大業，並警告漢靑不得殺大業以報私仇。
大業方面，已知陳俊底細，派人暗殺，却為陳俊結果性命。漢靑則再闖李公館，經一塲惡鬥，陳俊出現，宣佈大業罪狀，大業不甘就捕，遂約往風沙灣决鬥，漢靑同往，殺了大業。陳俊在此一塲患難之交以後，對漢靑頗表同情，赦其私相報仇的殺人罪名。 ——劇 終
THE STORMY SUN
(Synopsis)
Lee Ta-Yeh and his gang murder Hsieh Yu-lan and her parents after first raping the girl. Determined to avenge his family, Han Ching, the family’s sole survivor, goes to the city in search of Lee and his accomplices. While searching for Lee, Han aids Cheng Chiu-ching, a young girl who is being held as ransom against her father’s gambling debts. Han later discovers that Cheng’s would be abductors are some of Lee Ta Yeh’s henchman.
Han follows the men to Lee’s residence, where he tries single-handedly to kill Lee. His plans are foiled by Lee’s numerous guards who present a formidable obstacle to Han’s efforts. Although seriously wounded, Han manages to escape and seek refuge at the home of Chiu-Ching. She is glad to be able to repay Han’s earlier kindness.
While Han is recuperating, Chiu-cheng explains that her father used her as his security to gamble with Lee. Unfortunately he lost and now Lee is demanding that she go to work in his brother. Touched by this story, Han goes to the casino intent on winning enough money to buy Chiu-ching’s freedom. However while achieving his goal, Han attracts the attention of the casino manager Chen Chun also a very able fighter.
Chen orders some of Lee’s men to follow Han. Unknowingly he leads the villains to Chiu-ching. Lee has Chiu-Ching abducted and sent to work in one of his brothers. Lee plans to make her his concubine once she adjusts to her new life.
Troubled by this new turn of events, Chen Chun reveals to Han Ching his real identity. Chen in actuality is an agent of the Southern Government. He has been sent to gather information for Lee’s arrest. Chen entreats Han to aid him in capturing Lee alive, in order that he may stand trial.
Han agrees and the pair set off for Lee’s house. Han and Chen fight their way into the house, decimating Lee’s men, only to find Lee has escaped. They track him down and Chen attempts to arrest him. Lee resists and challenges Han and Chen to a duel to the death. Han agrees and in the ensuing fight avenges the murder of his family.
