我們若是打開四川省的舊地圖一看,該省的西南角上,是一片高山地帶,這片地方,幾千年來,幾乎純由夷人居住,漢人很少插足,那便是很有名的凉山夷區,後來,凉山區域,分屬川康兩省,成爲一片特殊的區域,這凉山夷區,又分作大涼山與小涼山兩個版域,任四川境內一部份,呌做『小涼山』區域,西康境內的一部份呌做『大凉山』區域;這區域中地形是山巒起伏,懸崖陡壁,氣候則因拔海頗高,寒風刺骨,夷人魁梧兇悍,善騎勇鬥,『大涼山恩仇記』這部影片,故事的取材背景,便是這特殊的夷人區域。
這部影片的劇本是永華去年所選購的劇本中一部傑構,去歲在上海舞台上演出,獲致極大的成功,永華公司對這部影片的攝製。態度極爲審愼,除導演卜萬倉與曾入大凉山夷區作長期攻察的曾昭椅博士作詳談,將原劇再三推敲補充外,復延聘夷籍靑年阿札慕甘拉惹充當顧問,服裝設計由美術名家盧世侯担任,他的設計曾在『淸宮秘史』中獲致好評,他爲了這部影片的設計,曾在去歲秋間親赴川康地區作過一番攷査,佈景方面由名置景師包天鳴及美術名家秦威設計,他事前蒐集這特種民族建築物及生活照片多幅,攝影是王春泉,他曾在永華新片『山河淚』中顯現了優越技術。
「大凉山恩仇記」,劇情略述漢夷之間,一段慘深的仇恨,二十年後年輕的一代又幾乎重演上一代的錯誤,永遠地寃寃不息的報復下去,後來卒由兩方中的開明與進步份子,消弭了一場已燃點了引火線的大仇殺,緊密的携起手來。
這片的演員陣容,在時下銀壇也堪稱理想之選,計有劉瓊,孫景路,舒繡文,王元龍,羅維,鄭玉如,鮑方,張萍,王班,周交彬,尤光照,楊薇,黎明,金剛,戴衍萬,孫芷君諸星。

『當家娃子』烏沙克——劉瓊飾,劉瓊在這片中,他是涼山瓦渣家大黑夷的奴隸總管。深得大黑〇的信任。這在被派到落烏家去討還財禮,和在眾娃子中獨指定他陪同小黑夷亞猛去盜取天燈,他也興奮的拭鎗實彈準備去爲主子建立大功,兩件事中看得出來,但『水牛終是水牛,奴娃終是奴娃。』但他和大黑〇掌珠珊拉娜暗底裏的戀愛被人發覺密告時,一樣要依照涼山統治者說訂定的律法宣判舉行火焚,幸有他英勇開明的哥哥,和傾向進步方面的小黑夷,才把他們這對異族的鴛鴦從死門關中拉了囘來,參加致力新中國的建設工作。
大黑〇掌珠珊拉娜——孫景路飾,在〇區中階級是嚴格的被劃分着,貴族的黑〇絕對不能和混血類的白〇結合,假如他們發生了愛昧,必行逼令跳入火坑殉情,一些也沒有通融的餘地□孫景路這貴族千金之軀,不惜委身『娃子』劉瓊,而且有了身孕,自然是成了悲劇人物。
究竟是在高山濶澗,擊鎗馳馬的環境中成長的女性嫵媚婀娜是兼而有之,當大黑〇將鷄蛋置於烏沙克頭上舉鎗欲射時,她毫不猶豫的移置在自己的頭上,喊着大黑〇開鎗射擊,火焰熊熊,即將吞噬她們的時候,她沒有一些悔懼,她的胆量和胸襟,是特種民族中的女性典型。
擄入涼山充乳媼的角石母——舒繡文飾,二十年前以命婦的身份到達〇邊,想看看受了朝廷重寄的夫君在這邊疆立下一番名垂青史的武功,不幸夫君遭了〇酋暗算殉職,自己和在襁褓中的優質被强擄入山。她二十年的艱忍,唯一希望是兒子烏沙克長大成人后滌血父仇,要眼看着敵兇授首而後快,但她發現她希冀手刃仇兇的兒子,竟與仇人之女靦顔相戀,怎能不失望與憤恨。
在她嚴厲的斥責下,她兒子烏沙克終於在痛苦的心情下勉强應允,,擊傷了之子阿猛,她也犧牲在涼山律法之下,家仇已報,含笑赴死去了。
上一代的仇恨,就讓它了結和終止在上一代吧。
瓦渣家〇酋蘇咕達——王元龍飾,〇入大部分性格是慓悍好鬥,蘇咕達是典型代表,而他也更較爲桀驁不遜,他高高在位尊勢盛的大黑〇地位,捧着統治者維護自己權位所訂定的涼山律法,奴視一切,睥睨一切。
他與漢人結下了宿怨,而這場舊怨他也勝得並不光明,他是乘漢人不備偷襲成功的,等到形勢演變到漢〇中進步的年輕一代赤誠要求携手團結時,他爲了維持他的法統,仍是死硬不化,結果被人在他壓迫凌辱的呷呷,捨命把他撲殺,丟掉了這塊阻礙團結進步的絆脚石。
小黑〇阿猛——羅維飾,他是在他父親大黑〇的頑固死硬的管制和教育下長成的每當大黑〇好戰喜攻的意念興起時,他便需戯劇化的把祖訓表演一番,滿足他父親的好勇狠鬥的私慾。
但他的本質是善良的,在他的思想中主人和奴娃並沒有了不起的貴賤,這從他的取溪水給烏沙克的舉動中窺到,他頭腦卻簡率得近乎天真,因此上了挑撥離間戰爭賑子楊團總的圈套,險些走上覆滅之途。
可是,年青的一代,終在他毅然轉變的進步態度下,衷心地團結起來。 (以〇代夷)
我導演大凉山恩仇記的經過

「大凉山恩仇記」劇本,為歐陽予倩先生推荐於永華公司,由永華購得電影攝製權,常以導演一職畀余担任,接受之初,曾再三考慮,蓋此種特型民族影片,須深知其風俗人情,方可着手,本人對於羅羅族的一切所知和幫助,獲得許多寶貴的意見和關於果果族的種種書籍以作參考。如曾昭倫先生的「大凉山〇區考察記」,及西康省政府印行的,「西康〇族調查報告」等,均給余以莫大的幫助,但導演一片,須將一舉一動刻劃真實,始予人以實感,於是復由友人介紹,請得大涼山的黑〇阿札慕甘拉惹君來港充任該片顧問,舉凡服裝道具習俗禮節,均由其親自指導乃知書本所敘,猶多未盡,由此「大凉山恩仇記」劇中的〇人表情動作,敢云逼近真實,這不能不歸功於〇胞顧間指導之功。
〇人的階級觀念極深,分黑白〇,黑〇是貴族,白〇是平民,他們都擁有許多娃子,娃子即是奴隷,奴隷越多,越顯其富,奴隷等於田產,隨時可作買賣,而為奴隷者,全是他們被擄去的漢人,他們所謂的黃牛是黃牛,水牛是水牛,白〇不能變黑〇,漢人不能變〇人,黑〇與白〇絕不通婚,奴隷尚與〇人發生苟且,均得處死,素來對漢人為冤家,本劇就利用這種階級性的衝突獲得戯劇性的成就,原著者李洪辛先生編寫的稠密,令人佩服後經洪深先生,顧仲彝先生,李祖永先生及余,再三研究,改成電影劇本,既不能失掉原著之精華,又不能超過電影應有之長度,這番工作,亦不甚易,上述諸位先生給我幫助不少,這裏應該謝謝。
該劇内景外景各半,内景還有燈光控制較有把握,惟外景一部分,除應有美麗之外,還要將〇區氣氛描慕出來,關於這一點,攝影師王春泉君,有着驚人的技術進步,王君為余多年老友,應向其道賀,錄音師石劍鳴君,亦爲多年同事,然在同一片中合作,尚屬初次,在攝製期間我對他種種要求,

根據曾昭倫博士「大凉山改編考察記」
涼山上的蘇咕達和珊拉娜看見亞猛和烏沙克去了三四天音訊杳然,照燈坪上的天燈仍是光亮依然,心裏焦灼不安。俄洛狼狽地逃奔囘來,報告烏沙克竟開鎗打了亞猛,亞猛重傷後被擒,必死無疑,蘇咕達痛愛子為敵人擄去,報復心切,便決心答應了烏落家的婚事,將珊拉娜許配過去,不過以聯合同打漢呷為條件,他派色莫乃窩前往烏落家說親。
按照涼山的律法,娃子殺死黑夷,娃子須全家償命,角石母被衆娃子用樹枝打到半死,珊拉那百般求免無用,最後被大黑夷下令用石子披擲她,推她滾跌到萬丈深崖下去,她在垂死前説出她便是鄭良才的夫人,爲了報這血海深仇,在夷區中二十年來忍辱含辛,烏沙克的鎗擊亞猛是受她的吩咐,過一兩天烏沙克還會帶了漢兵上山來殺盡瓦渣家全家老小,角石母念家仇已報,含笑的赴去了。楊團總的陰謀詭計未成,深知小黑夷亞猛失手被俘,便乘人不查覺的時候潛入亞猛養傷的屋内,鼓他如簧之舌,大肆挑撥離間,並暗授給亞猛手鎗,唆使亞猛行刺鄭明,以遂他借刀殺人的毒計,他鼓動亞猛說,你把鄭明的頭砍下,帶囘涼山,豈不是立一大功!魯莽的亞猛,在他甘言蜜語之下,竟受了他的煽惑。當夜,鄭營長在燈下披閲公牘,亞猛蛇行攀登到鄭營長辦公室的屋頂,在天窗下瞄準欲射,被鄭驚覺敏捷的躲避在一邊,亞猛發射的鎗彈落了空,鎗聲驚動侍衛們來圍捕,亞猛便再度被捕獲,鄭明細看亞猛說用的手鎗,向亞猛追詰,知道楊團總暗交給他的,解了他的綁縛,曉以大義,亞猛聽了感激與慚愧交集,用誠懇的目光,向鄭營長保證囘返涼山後,向各夷族宣揚漢人的盛德,共修漢夷之好。
楊團總夫婦罪蹟昭彰,怗惡不後,鄭營長即令逮捕看押,並解散擾民的邊區保衛團。
色莫乃窩到了烏落,親事一説便成,烏落家主還自動備了許多彩禮,命娃子們吹吹打打往瓦渣家迎親。瓦渣家也熱鬧地備辦喜事女娃們準備潑水,給這幫壯漢們來個「迎頭痛擊」,男娃們也準備率角嬉戯,珊拉娜在父親大黑夷的嚴令下,被迫作了戰爭的禮品,内心極感痛苦,像是一隻引頸待宰的小羔羊。
烏沙克在老林中徘徊幾天,最後決定跑囘見珊拉娜一面,雖然明知道冒着萬死,也是心甘情願,死無遺憾
落烏家迎親的娃子們到了瓦渣家,瓦渣家的娃子們趕忙潑水,角力和跳鍋莊,熱鬧非凡。
珊拉娜獨坐在房中,正一籌莫展。不知如何是好,忽聞到怪鳥呌聲,知道烏沙克已經囘來,驚喜交集,急偷偷地溜了出來,向美姑河邊狂奔,兩個熱戀着的情人,幾天不見,説不出是甜是苦,珊拉娜告訴烏沙克說角石母被處死,這頓勾起烏沙克的舊恨新冤,必欲殺蘇咕達才甘心,珊拉娜提醒他手無寸鐵,如何敵得過蘇咕達,色莫乃窩這般人,她説出她肚裏已有了身孕,便覓了兩匹馬,狂奔下山而去。
當珊拉娜偷偷溜出屋子的時候,只有女娃烏拉娃看見她,暗自跟蹤在後面,她窺見姍跟烏私會,頓生妒恨,又聽到他們計議私奔,便不顧一切,奔囘報告大黑夷,蘇咕達聞聼怒不可遏,立命色莫乃窩等飛騎追趕,務必生擒囘來。
他們在山陵中追逐,上山落谷,最後珊拉娜跌下坐騎來,烏沙克急躍下馬來救護,後面追兵趕到,衆寡懸殊,他們這對苦命鴛鴦束手被擒了。
蘇咕達按着瓦渣家的律法,命將他倆雙雙處死,在太平壩上堆起柴火,蘇咕達向天祈禱,娃子們圍繞着熊熊火焰唱着:「夷跟漢哦不結婚,娃子能配主人哪……」的凄婉的喪歌,烏沙克和珊拉娜早知他們的命運會有這麽一天,倒也泰然無懼,活,活在一起,死,死在一起,他們高興的用兩個竹管吸啜着酒,微笑待死,倒是女娃們啜泣不已,烏拉娃更是頻向姍認罪,追悔莫及。
蘇咕達正發令叫他們躍入火坑内殉情,忽聼得亞猛在遠處飛奔而來,高聲呼叫:「阿大,珊拉娜,我囘來了!」亞猛奔到蘇咕達面前,跪下報告被俘經過,説明鄭長優待夷人,願和蘇古達解除宿仇,所以放他歸山,勸他父親竭誠與漢人親睦,蘇咕達大怒,舉鎗要擊殺亞猛,呷呷本來是漢人,係擄入山為奴的,他憤恨蘇專權並阻礙漢夷的衷心合作,便擲石塊將蘇咕達擊死,呷呷隨也被色莫乃窩所鎗殺,亞猛被衆娃推為家主,他親自釋放了烏沙克和珊拉娜,並告知鄭營長託他在山内找尋他的母親和弟弟,烏沙克自認他就是鄭良才的幼子。
亞猛率領瓦渣家黑白夷,前往迎接鄭營長,亂離了二十年的鄭氏兄弟,也在這便去上終慶重逢,漢〇兵民,鼓舞歡騰,並肩携子永修盟好,冺除了過去的隔閡,仇恨,共同致力建設富足,康樂的新中國! (完)
註:〇人在各種失禮事件當中,最忌放屁,以此爲人不敬,〇族男子,褲脚奇大,女子更是袛穿裙而不穿褲,往往蹲踞地下,與人談話的時候,在地上遺下一堆大小便,這事他們不以爲奇,可是如果不幸放了一個屁,便覺得很難爲情,女人若犯此規,甚至可以羞憤自殺。

『大凉山恩仇記』裡的王元龍與舒繡文,他們在戲裡自然的成爲一組,同樣代表了老的一個時代,他們同樣有着劇烈的情感,他們本身便明顯地代表了夷與漢,而他們也同樣的有着最優秀的演出。這些年來的磨練,把王元龍變成一個非常優秀的個性演員,他在大凉山恩仇記裡,演的大黑夷是剛愎,好勝,輕蔑,殘酷,有王者之尊,而又不時透露一點突如其來的幽默的一個角色,結果王元龍給我們的是滿意,比我們所能想像的更超過了許多,王元龍演大黑〇的最大的特點,是所謂「台風」好,他的出場眞應該亮大電燈,絕對沒冇小婁囉,唆的感覺,動作『邊式』,漂亮,臉部的表情,够說白精彩有力,對於時間的把握,尤有心得,這些都證明他對劇中人的性格有絕對的把握。
舒繡文是少數的幾個懂得怎樣演戯的演員,能够榨得出戯的地方,她絕對不放鬆,演個淋漓盡致,可以發揮的地方,她便全力以赴,演個痛快,她不掩飾額上的皺紋,接受了這樣一個並不美麗的角色,這恐怕不是普通一班女明星所做得到的,但是因爲她看準了這個角色有機會供她發揮,而她的判断是正確的,結果她呈現了一個有聲有色的角石母,別子與被毆二塲,理應給她大大的喝彩,對於一個有藝術頭腦和藝術良心的演員,時間並非敵人。

Su Siew Wun first become famous for her wonderful portrayal of the Mother in Tears of the Yangtse. As Cheak Seet Moo in "Sins of our Fathers" she has a similar role and again proves herself to be a distinguished character actress.
Su Siew Wun spent the war years in Chung King. In reality a young woman, she has preferred to specialise in playing older women.
LIN KHENG 劉瓊
The most popular male move star of them all, Lin Kheng has reached the peak of his career, after ten years of hard work and study.
His wonderful performance in "Souls of China" bought him to the fore—front of his profession. He is equally magnificent in "Sins of our Fathers". Very good looking, it is no wonder that his movie fans think him wonderful.
Hwang Yuen Loong 王元龍
Hwang Yuen Loong, who first appeared in films many years ago, has appeared in over 100 pictures. As the Lolo Chief in "Sins of our Fathers" he has a role which only an actor of his experience could portray with such integrity. An unsympathetic role, yet he manages to convey to his audiences that his actions were motivated by inten—tions which, to him, were good.
SOON CHENG LOO 孫景路
A comparative new—comer to pictures, Soon Cheng Loo won her present role in "Sins of our Fathers" for her excellent performance in "our Husband".
Her charming portrayal of the Lolo Chief's young daughter in love with a man who, for tribal reasons, is an enemy, will win her many new fans.

The Story
Remote from the rest of the country, the Lolos live their secluded tribal life on the Yunnan, Szechwan and Sikong border area.
To this wild and desolate region at the edge of civilisation comes Battalion Commander Cheng of the Chinese Army with a mission to end the useless blood-shed between the Lolos and the Hans (Chinese).
He finds that Yang, head of the local militia, and his wife are engaged in trafficking arms for opium with the Lolos and that much of the enmity against the Chinese is fostered by Yang and his cohorts to further their selfish scramble for money.
Cheng and his men choose to stay in a temple, which has been dedicated to Cheng's father — killed by the Lolos — and he reveals his identity. His first act is to relight the "Lamp of Heaven" — erected by his late father to guide escaping Chinese slaves to the Lolos to a haven of safety — and this light is seen after years of darkness by the Lolos & their slaves in the hills.
Meanwhile, in the Lolo stronghold the old Chinese nurse of the tribe — in reality the mother of Battalion Commander Cheng, who was torn from her arms as a boy and lost as she and her other son were captured by the Lolos—sees the light and recalls the slaughter of her husband.
She exhorts her other son, now slave major—domo of the chief's household, to kill the Lolo chief, his son and daughter, whom he loves deeply, despite the fact that there are three distinct classes of tribesmen — the Black Lolos or the ruling classes, the White Lolos or Commoners, and the slaves, of which he is one — and that any intercourse among the various strata is entirely forbidden on pain of death.
Treated well by the Lolos, who give their slaves liberty after a time, the son is shocked by the suggestion but, after persuasion by his mother, he agrees to kill the son of the Lolo chief on the Jatter's way to steal the "Lamp of Heaven". Then he is ordered by his mother to lead the Chinese troops under Cheng (his brother) to the Lolo stronghold.
He wounds tha son of the chief but is captured by the Lolos shortly.

after the chief's son has been made Prisoner by Cheng and his troops.
Meanwhile, Cheng releases his prisoner and. with sound reasoning, forgiveness and brotherhoods, convinces the son that there are better ways to solve differences than by slaughter and rancour. Thus the son of the Lolo chief and the son of the man who was killed by that Chief, join hands in friendship and make their way to the Lolo stronghold, where they are just in time to save the Major-Domo and the chief's daughter from death by fire — the penalty for love between a Black Lolo and a slave.
In a dramatic climax, the old chief is killed and a new generation takes the reigns. Peace returns to a blood-soaked land and just deserts are meted out to those who have held the two races in enmity.

他與漢人結下了宿怨,而這場舊怨他也勝得並不光明,他是乘漢人不備偷襲成功的,等到形勢演變到漢〇中進步的年輕一代赤誠要求携手團結時,他爲了維持他的法統,仍是死硬不化,結果被人在他壓迫凌辱的呷呷,捨命把他撲殺,丟掉了這塊阻礙團結進步的絆脚石。
小黑〇阿猛——羅維飾,他是在他父親大黑〇的頑固死硬的管制和教育下長成的每當大黑〇好戰喜攻的意念興起時,他便需戯劇化的把祖訓表演一番,滿足他父親的好勇狠鬥的私慾。
但他的本質是善良的,在他的思想中主人和奴娃並沒有了不起的貴賤,這從他的取溪水給烏沙克的舉動中窺到,他頭腦卻簡率得近乎天真,因此上了挑撥離間戰爭賑子楊團總的圈套,險些走上覆滅之途。
可是,年青的一代,終在他毅然轉變的進步態度下,衷心地團結起來。 (以〇代夷)
我導演大凉山恩仇記的經過

「大凉山恩仇記」劇本,為歐陽予倩先生推荐於永華公司,由永華購得電影攝製權,常以導演一職畀余担任,接受之初,曾再三考慮,蓋此種特型民族影片,須深知其風俗人情,方可着手,本人對於羅羅族的一切所知和幫助,獲得許多寶貴的意見和關於果果族的種種書籍以作參考。如曾昭倫先生的「大凉山〇區考察記」,及西康省政府印行的,「西康〇族調查報告」等,均給余以莫大的幫助,但導演一片,須將一舉一動刻劃真實,始予人以實感,於是復由友人介紹,請得大涼山的黑〇阿札慕甘拉惹君來港充任該片顧問,舉凡服裝道具習俗禮節,均由其親自指導乃知書本所敘,猶多未盡,由此「大凉山恩仇記」劇中的〇人表情動作,敢云逼近真實,這不能不歸功於〇胞顧間指導之功。
〇人的階級觀念極深,分黑白〇,黑〇是貴族,白〇是平民,他們都擁有許多娃子,娃子即是奴隷,奴隷越多,越顯其富,奴隷等於田產,隨時可作買賣,而為奴隷者,全是他們被擄去的漢人,他們所謂的黃牛是黃牛,水牛是水牛,白〇不能變黑〇,漢人不能變〇人,黑〇與白〇絕不通婚,奴隷尚與〇人發生苟且,均得處死,素來對漢人為冤家,本劇就利用這種階級性的衝突獲得戯劇性的成就,原著者李洪辛先生編寫的稠密,令人佩服後經洪深先生,顧仲彝先生,李祖永先生及余,再三研究,改成電影劇本,既不能失掉原著之精華,又不能超過電影應有之長度,這番工作,亦不甚易,上述諸位先生給我幫助不少,這裏應該謝謝。
該劇内景外景各半,内景還有燈光控制較有把握,惟外景一部分,除應有美麗之外,還要將〇區氣氛描慕出來,關於這一點,攝影師王春泉君,有着驚人的技術進步,王君為余多年老友,應向其道賀,錄音師石劍鳴君,亦爲多年同事,然在同一片中合作,尚屬初次,在攝製期間我對他種種要求,

根據曾昭倫博士「大凉山改編考察記」
涼山上的蘇咕達和珊拉娜看見亞猛和烏沙克去了三四天音訊杳然,照燈坪上的天燈仍是光亮依然,心裏焦灼不安。俄洛狼狽地逃奔囘來,報告烏沙克竟開鎗打了亞猛,亞猛重傷後被擒,必死無疑,蘇咕達痛愛子為敵人擄去,報復心切,便決心答應了烏落家的婚事,將珊拉娜許配過去,不過以聯合同打漢呷為條件,他派色莫乃窩前往烏落家說親。
按照涼山的律法,娃子殺死黑夷,娃子須全家償命,角石母被衆娃子用樹枝打到半死,珊拉那百般求免無用,最後被大黑夷下令用石子披擲她,推她滾跌到萬丈深崖下去,她在垂死前説出她便是鄭良才的夫人,爲了報這血海深仇,在夷區中二十年來忍辱含辛,烏沙克的鎗擊亞猛是受她的吩咐,過一兩天烏沙克還會帶了漢兵上山來殺盡瓦渣家全家老小,角石母念家仇已報,含笑的赴去了。楊團總的陰謀詭計未成,深知小黑夷亞猛失手被俘,便乘人不查覺的時候潛入亞猛養傷的屋内,鼓他如簧之舌,大肆挑撥離間,並暗授給亞猛手鎗,唆使亞猛行刺鄭明,以遂他借刀殺人的毒計,他鼓動亞猛說,你把鄭明的頭砍下,帶囘涼山,豈不是立一大功!魯莽的亞猛,在他甘言蜜語之下,竟受了他的煽惑。當夜,鄭營長在燈下披閲公牘,亞猛蛇行攀登到鄭營長辦公室的屋頂,在天窗下瞄準欲射,被鄭驚覺敏捷的躲避在一邊,亞猛發射的鎗彈落了空,鎗聲驚動侍衛們來圍捕,亞猛便再度被捕獲,鄭明細看亞猛說用的手鎗,向亞猛追詰,知道楊團總暗交給他的,解了他的綁縛,曉以大義,亞猛聽了感激與慚愧交集,用誠懇的目光,向鄭營長保證囘返涼山後,向各夷族宣揚漢人的盛德,共修漢夷之好。
楊團總夫婦罪蹟昭彰,怗惡不後,鄭營長即令逮捕看押,並解散擾民的邊區保衛團。
色莫乃窩到了烏落,親事一説便成,烏落家主還自動備了許多彩禮,命娃子們吹吹打打往瓦渣家迎親。瓦渣家也熱鬧地備辦喜事女娃們準備潑水,給這幫壯漢們來個「迎頭痛擊」,男娃們也準備率角嬉戯,珊拉娜在父親大黑夷的嚴令下,被迫作了戰爭的禮品,内心極感痛苦,像是一隻引頸待宰的小羔羊。
烏沙克在老林中徘徊幾天,最後決定跑囘見珊拉娜一面,雖然明知道冒着萬死,也是心甘情願,死無遺憾
落烏家迎親的娃子們到了瓦渣家,瓦渣家的娃子們趕忙潑水,角力和跳鍋莊,熱鬧非凡。
珊拉娜獨坐在房中,正一籌莫展。不知如何是好,忽聞到怪鳥呌聲,知道烏沙克已經囘來,驚喜交集,急偷偷地溜了出來,向美姑河邊狂奔,兩個熱戀着的情人,幾天不見,説不出是甜是苦,珊拉娜告訴烏沙克說角石母被處死,這頓勾起烏沙克的舊恨新冤,必欲殺蘇咕達才甘心,珊拉娜提醒他手無寸鐵,如何敵得過蘇咕達,色莫乃窩這般人,她説出她肚裏已有了身孕,便覓了兩匹馬,狂奔下山而去。
當珊拉娜偷偷溜出屋子的時候,只有女娃烏拉娃看見她,暗自跟蹤在後面,她窺見姍跟烏私會,頓生妒恨,又聽到他們計議私奔,便不顧一切,奔囘報告大黑夷,蘇咕達聞聼怒不可遏,立命色莫乃窩等飛騎追趕,務必生擒囘來。
他們在山陵中追逐,上山落谷,最後珊拉娜跌下坐騎來,烏沙克急躍下馬來救護,後面追兵趕到,衆寡懸殊,他們這對苦命鴛鴦束手被擒了。
蘇咕達按着瓦渣家的律法,命將他倆雙雙處死,在太平壩上堆起柴火,蘇咕達向天祈禱,娃子們圍繞着熊熊火焰唱着:「夷跟漢哦不結婚,娃子能配主人哪……」的凄婉的喪歌,烏沙克和珊拉娜早知他們的命運會有這麽一天,倒也泰然無懼,活,活在一起,死,死在一起,他們高興的用兩個竹管吸啜着酒,微笑待死,倒是女娃們啜泣不已,烏拉娃更是頻向姍認罪,追悔莫及。
蘇咕達正發令叫他們躍入火坑内殉情,忽聼得亞猛在遠處飛奔而來,高聲呼叫:「阿大,珊拉娜,我囘來了!」亞猛奔到蘇咕達面前,跪下報告被俘經過,説明鄭長優待夷人,願和蘇古達解除宿仇,所以放他歸山,勸他父親竭誠與漢人親睦,蘇咕達大怒,舉鎗要擊殺亞猛,呷呷本來是漢人,係擄入山為奴的,他憤恨蘇專權並阻礙漢夷的衷心合作,便擲石塊將蘇咕達擊死,呷呷隨也被色莫乃窩所鎗殺,亞猛被衆娃推為家主,他親自釋放了烏沙克和珊拉娜,並告知鄭營長託他在山内找尋他的母親和弟弟,烏沙克自認他就是鄭良才的幼子。
亞猛率領瓦渣家黑白夷,前往迎接鄭營長,亂離了二十年的鄭氏兄弟,也在這便去上終慶重逢,漢〇兵民,鼓舞歡騰,並肩携子永修盟好,冺除了過去的隔閡,仇恨,共同致力建設富足,康樂的新中國! (完)
註:〇人在各種失禮事件當中,最忌放屁,以此爲人不敬,〇族男子,褲脚奇大,女子更是袛穿裙而不穿褲,往往蹲踞地下,與人談話的時候,在地上遺下一堆大小便,這事他們不以爲奇,可是如果不幸放了一個屁,便覺得很難爲情,女人若犯此規,甚至可以羞憤自殺。

『大凉山恩仇記』裡的王元龍與舒繡文,他們在戲裡自然的成爲一組,同樣代表了老的一個時代,他們同樣有着劇烈的情感,他們本身便明顯地代表了夷與漢,而他們也同樣的有着最優秀的演出。這些年來的磨練,把王元龍變成一個非常優秀的個性演員,他在大凉山恩仇記裡,演的大黑夷是剛愎,好勝,輕蔑,殘酷,有王者之尊,而又不時透露一點突如其來的幽默的一個角色,結果王元龍給我們的是滿意,比我們所能想像的更超過了許多,王元龍演大黑〇的最大的特點,是所謂「台風」好,他的出場眞應該亮大電燈,絕對沒冇小婁囉,唆的感覺,動作『邊式』,漂亮,臉部的表情,够說白精彩有力,對於時間的把握,尤有心得,這些都證明他對劇中人的性格有絕對的把握。
舒繡文是少數的幾個懂得怎樣演戯的演員,能够榨得出戯的地方,她絕對不放鬆,演個淋漓盡致,可以發揮的地方,她便全力以赴,演個痛快,她不掩飾額上的皺紋,接受了這樣一個並不美麗的角色,這恐怕不是普通一班女明星所做得到的,但是因爲她看準了這個角色有機會供她發揮,而她的判断是正確的,結果她呈現了一個有聲有色的角石母,別子與被毆二塲,理應給她大大的喝彩,對於一個有藝術頭腦和藝術良心的演員,時間並非敵人。

Su Siew Wun first become famous for her wonderful portrayal of the Mother in Tears of the Yangtse. As Cheak Seet Moo in "Sins of our Fathers" she has a similar role and again proves herself to be a distinguished character actress.
Su Siew Wun spent the war years in Chung King. In reality a young woman, she has preferred to specialise in playing older women.
LIN KHENG 劉瓊
The most popular male move star of them all, Lin Kheng has reached the peak of his career, after ten years of hard work and study.
His wonderful performance in "Souls of China" bought him to the fore—front of his profession. He is equally magnificent in "Sins of our Fathers". Very good looking, it is no wonder that his movie fans think him wonderful.
Hwang Yuen Loong 王元龍
Hwang Yuen Loong, who first appeared in films many years ago, has appeared in over 100 pictures. As the Lolo Chief in "Sins of our Fathers" he has a role which only an actor of his experience could portray with such integrity. An unsympathetic role, yet he manages to convey to his audiences that his actions were motivated by inten—tions which, to him, were good.
SOON CHENG LOO 孫景路
A comparative new—comer to pictures, Soon Cheng Loo won her present role in "Sins of our Fathers" for her excellent performance in "our Husband".
Her charming portrayal of the Lolo Chief's young daughter in love with a man who, for tribal reasons, is an enemy, will win her many new fans.

The Story
Remote from the rest of the country, the Lolos live their secluded tribal life on the Yunnan, Szechwan and Sikong border area.
To this wild and desolate region at the edge of civilisation comes Battalion Commander Cheng of the Chinese Army with a mission to end the useless blood-shed between the Lolos and the Hans (Chinese).
He finds that Yang, head of the local militia, and his wife are engaged in trafficking arms for opium with the Lolos and that much of the enmity against the Chinese is fostered by Yang and his cohorts to further their selfish scramble for money.
Cheng and his men choose to stay in a temple, which has been dedicated to Cheng's father — killed by the Lolos — and he reveals his identity. His first act is to relight the "Lamp of Heaven" — erected by his late father to guide escaping Chinese slaves to the Lolos to a haven of safety — and this light is seen after years of darkness by the Lolos & their slaves in the hills.
Meanwhile, in the Lolo stronghold the old Chinese nurse of the tribe — in reality the mother of Battalion Commander Cheng, who was torn from her arms as a boy and lost as she and her other son were captured by the Lolos—sees the light and recalls the slaughter of her husband.
She exhorts her other son, now slave major—domo of the chief's household, to kill the Lolo chief, his son and daughter, whom he loves deeply, despite the fact that there are three distinct classes of tribesmen — the Black Lolos or the ruling classes, the White Lolos or Commoners, and the slaves, of which he is one — and that any intercourse among the various strata is entirely forbidden on pain of death.
Treated well by the Lolos, who give their slaves liberty after a time, the son is shocked by the suggestion but, after persuasion by his mother, he agrees to kill the son of the Lolo chief on the Jatter's way to steal the "Lamp of Heaven". Then he is ordered by his mother to lead the Chinese troops under Cheng (his brother) to the Lolo stronghold.
He wounds tha son of the chief but is captured by the Lolos shortly.

after the chief's son has been made Prisoner by Cheng and his troops.
Meanwhile, Cheng releases his prisoner and. with sound reasoning, forgiveness and brotherhoods, convinces the son that there are better ways to solve differences than by slaughter and rancour. Thus the son of the Lolo chief and the son of the man who was killed by that Chief, join hands in friendship and make their way to the Lolo stronghold, where they are just in time to save the Major-Domo and the chief's daughter from death by fire — the penalty for love between a Black Lolo and a slave.
In a dramatic climax, the old chief is killed and a new generation takes the reigns. Peace returns to a blood-soaked land and just deserts are meted out to those who have held the two races in enmity.
