　　第二次世界大戰，日本軍閥侵佔韓國及我們東北時期，中國靑年李安，參加抗日行動，為日人追捕，乘車赴韓依靠世伯雷成。

　　經過長途跋渉，李安卒抵韓國，正値韓人歡渡新年，舉行摔角比賽，韓摔角手金大成在比賽中獲勝，但日浪人搗亂，將金大成擊倒，另一韓摔角手登台，亦被日浪人的詭計擊敗。

　　李安抱不平，登台挑戰，果將日浪人打倒，奪得冠軍，並獲獎一頭黃牛。日駐韓特務頭子白刀館館主倉田接獲報告，乃命手下浪人頭子搜捕李安。

　　時李安得金大成指引，找到世伯雷成，雷為當地僑領，膝下有兩子雷强及雷永與一養女雪梅，雷成得悉李安曾經闖禍，乃命雪梅帶其往一秘密地點暫避風頭。

　　倉田搜捕李安不獲，懷疑匿居於雷成之醬廠，乃命當地日本商團頭子高橋往找雷成要人，另一方面，又抓來金大成迫問李安下落，金大成不允吐露，慘被打死。高橋亦找到雷成，追問李安下落。

　　雷强與雪梅在秘密地點探望李安後，囘家途中，被三名日本浪人要脅往見倉田，雷强武功高强，將三日浪人殺死，高橋又往追雷成交出李安，否則不供應大豆。 雷成不予理會，命雷强赴鄰縣搜購應急。

　　高橋之代表市村往見雷成，表示只要將雪梅嫁與高橋，則不追究他收藏李安之事。雷成不允，市村返報高橋與倉田，高橋老羞成怒，由倉田手下將雷成捉去，又命日浪人搗亂中國人開設之商店。

　　李安為報復日浪人之行動，與工友小狗子在白刀館前，將數名浪人打死。雷强購豆返廠，途中遭高橋手下偸襲，雷永聞訊往救，惜已不及，雷强被害，雷永亦受傷。

　　雪梅為拯救養父，自願犧牲，往見高橋，答允下嫁，換囘雷成自由，但獲悉雷成已死，悲憤之餘，欲與高橋拼命，被捉送倉田處，幸途中遇李安與小狗子，李安大發神威，將高橋及其保鏢擊斃，救囘雪梅。交雷永帶往躱藏。自己則往找倉田及其爪牙算賬。

　　李安闖入白刀館内，倉田一見大驚，立命手下浪人與敎頭豐田與戰，他則躱避起來，李安將豐田等殺斃，追蹤倉田。

　　倉田逃至郊野，終於追及，迫得囘身應戰，結果，被李安施展飛腳踢斃。

　　其時，一隊日警趕至馳救，李安急沿鐵路逃走，日警向李安開槍。另一邊，雷永與雪梅亦率韓國抗日志士向日警隊還擊。李安在混亂中，逃上火車，但却中槍倒於車廂之中，被火車運走。

"TIGER OF THE NORTHLAND”

(SYNOPSIS )

During world War II as Japanese armies push to conquer Northeast China and Korea, young Li An, a Chinese revolutionary, is arrested by the Japanese. He manages to escape and heads for Korea to join his uncle.

In a wrestling tournament to celebrate the Korean New Year, Li beats a Japanese who had defeated his Korean counterpart, Chin Ta-cheng by trickery. As champion of the tournament, Li is awarded a cow. This incident upsets Kurata, head of the Japanese secret agents in the area.

With the help of Chin, Li gets in touch with his uncle Lei Wei, his two sons named Lei Cheng and Lei Yung, daughter Shueh-mei. Lei advises Li to hide for a while, to avoid capture.

Meanwhile Kurata has been making an intensive search for Li. His henchmen threaten Lei Cheng and Shueh-mei in an attempt to make them reveal the whereabouts of Li, However, the henchmen are no match for Lei Cheng who quickly disposes of them. Kurata sends Takahashi, a Japanese tycoon in Korea to bargain with Lei Cheng for handing over Li but Lei refuses.

In a fit of anger, Kurata orders his men abduct Lei and confiscate all Chinese property in Korea.

In revenge, Li attacks several Japanese fighters near Kurata's stronghold. The fight ends up with Lei Cheng being killed and Lei Yung wounded.

To save Lei, Shueh-mei succumbs to Takahashi who is charmed by her beauty and wants to take her as his wife. In the nick of time, Li appears and saves her from this fate. Li kills Takahashi in the ensuing fight.

Alone Li storms Kurata's stronghold. As Li is tangling with Kurata's men one by one, Kurata runs away. Li gives chase and eventually kills him in the countryside.

Unfortunately, at that moment several Japanese police arrive at the scene, and shoot Li while he is fleeing. In the midst of confusion, Li manages to board a train.
