三德和尙與舂米六（本事）

　　舂米六（洪金寶）心性聰穎多計，少年時因叔父被滿洲人凌辱而死，誓爲叔報仇，得三德和尙（陳星）帶入少林寺作俗家子弟習武多年，深得師父靜塵（皇封）看重。

　　舂急欲下山復仇，惟知木人巷難闖，乃決意偸走下山，靜塵着徒謝亞福（田俊）追趕，以懲其違，福以己與舂多年同門習武，略作輕懲，放之下山。

　　憨直粗獷之牛精良（盧海鵬）在羊城內一染布塲做機房工人，牛有妹（陳維英）生得如花貌美。

　　羊城內有一愛羅王府（趙雄）乃滿洲人，其弟白安福（馮克安）仗兄權勢橫行。白因垂涎牛妹美色，伺機將牛妹搶至一爛屋姦汚，事後牛妹羞憤，以利剪自盡，牛得鄰婦吿姦妹者是滿洲人所爲，牛誓殺旗人爲妹復仇。

　　牛往見三德和尙求助，三德勸牛稍忍耐。

　　某日，白安福手下方魁（魯俊），文武（錢月笙）文忠（任世官）在小巷內愚弄數小孩，舂路過見狀乃施懲，文武、文忠二人見勢不妙先溜，方魁被舂吿誡間，牛突出現，將方刺死逃去，舂知不妙亦相繼逃。

　　文氏兄弟返白府帶齊人馬至小巷，見方已斃，直追至染布塲，但見各機房工人羣起對峙，卒不得要領而返。

　　舂至見三德，三德吿知牛妹被姦事，舂不値白等所爲，決助牛復仇，牛見舂武功高强，爲防白等人再到機房鬧事，央舂任機房敎頭，舂允之。

　　白安福爲佔取漢人物業，得師爺（石天）獻計，請得高手高奇（尹發）及羅金城（王俠）二人加盟，以助聲威。

　　白感機房工人時與作對，欲先行施計佔奪染布塲，命陳卓往見錢老板（金雷）托染布三千匹，但限五日交貨，否則以機房抵押，錢見生意頗大，乃答應，却不料陳所指定染料奇缺，錢恐未能如期交貨，必須交出染塲，牛等見情况有異，細查後乃知白詭計，原來白早已將市面上之染色料搶購一空，牛及衆工人幾經艱苦將染料偸得，乃及時將布匹染好，如期交貨。

　　白方知染料已爲機房工人偸去，一怒之下，決帶齊手下往染布塲，途經牛精良家見牛妻（朱靑）色心又起，命衆先行，白向牛妻施暴，爲牛母（黎雯）阻，怒殺之，白姦牛妻後，又殺牛妻始離去。

　　在染布塲內，白等與機房工人展開打鬥，工人死傷頗衆，牛不敵重傷，慌忙逃返家中，見妻母已死，悲憤欲絕，三德及舂趕至，牛托二人照顧其子，含恨而死。

　　愛羅王府正慶賀取得機房，三德及舂闖至，展開一塲龍爭虎鬥，白與衆終不敵，二人見殺友之仇得報，無愧對九泉下之牛精良矣。

THE IRON-FISTED MONK

(A Synopsis)

This film tells only one episode of the legend of Monk Shan Teh and The Husker.

The Husker has a heart of gold although he is full of tricks. When he is a trainee at Shaolin Temple, he cuts so many corners and devises so many labor-saving ploys that he earns the open wrath and secret admiration of his holy elders.

Comes the time of graduation when a trainee has to fight his way through the Hallway of Wood Fighter before he can leave the temple. The Husker passes the test easily, so easily that suspicion is aroused. The elders discover the Husker has tempered with the mechanisms. He is punished but declared a graduate nevertheless.

Monk Shan Teh, famous kung fu master, never lets his buddhist association stand in the way of wining, whoring and the partaking of dog meat. His student Niu Ching-Liang is in trouble as Niu’s sister is raped by the Manchus and has committed suicide. The monk tells Niu to bide for time.

The Husker stops Manchu leader Pai’s men from molesting children. Niu kills one of them and leads the Husker to see Monk Shan Teh. It is agreed the Husker will coach Niu’s dyeing factory hands who are the main anti-Manchu force.

Manchu Pai has a scheme to take over the dyeing factory. He hoards dyestuffs but places a huge order with the factory. The Husker has to steal the dyestuff to save the plant.

An enraged Pai leads his men to invade the factory. En route, he rapes and kills Niu’s wife. And he wins the first round against the factory hands.

Monk Shan Teh and the Husker find a dying Niu crying over his wife’s corpse. The two angry masters storm Pai’s house and settle the score with Pai in a showdown.
