The Story

Twin brothers Lam Sam and Lam Seng have been parted since childhood. Years later, under the bringing up of his mother, the elder Lam Sam has become an author. There are as their neighbours a pair of twin sisters Ay-mui and Ay-lan, with the elder Au-mui working as a unrse while her other half is still studying. They have something else in common: both are secretly in love with Lam Sam.
Meantime, the younger Lam Seng, who exactly looks like just his elder brother Lam Sam, has come from Macao, and unexpectedly runs into a good furtune by marrying the daughter of a millionaire-married to him in order to him in order to cover up a scandal as the girl is now pregnant having an affair with another man earlier. By chance Lan Seng encounters the younder twin sister Ay-lan, mistaking her as the millionaire's daughter; on the contrary, Ay-lan has mistaken him as the elder Lam Sam, too. She is very happy because she feels it is she that Lam Sam has loved, and not her elder sister. But she is bewildered when at a birthday party of Lam Sam, his attitude towards her seems to have again changed in favour of
her elder sister Ay-mui. Ay-lan becomes jealous and mad and drunk. This has aroused the suspicion of her elder sister Ay-mui about Lam Sam's true affection towards her. She decides to pretend to be her own other half the younder Ay-lan in an attempt to find out Lam Sam's sincerity.
And so the whole topsy-turvy goes up high in the air! And when Lam Seng acts affectionately to wards Ay-lan, it confirms Ay-mui's belief that Lan Sam is after her sister too.
The music goes round and round-and, mistakes after mistakes, errors after errors, come also comedies after comedies. As a result, the twin sisters are disappointed at both the twin brothers and the twin brothers are also disappointed at both the twin sisters, The brothers go drunk-and, in still another mix-up, the elder Lam Sem is rounded up by the henchmen of the millionaire with a view to force him to marry his pregnant daughter, while the younger Lam Seng is pinched off by the director forcing him to finish the script that Lam Sam has promised earlier. While Lam Seng literally "escapes", Lam Sam is made his younger brother's scapegoat to marry the millionaire's daughter. At the wedding ceremony,
Lam Sam stages a successful snenk out just as Lan Seng turns up trying to avoid his mother who is after him for his mischiefs. But Lam Sam has failed in his bid and is caught back-and there you are, at the altar there are the two twin brothers each of them is supposed to marry the millionaire's daughter, There is nobody to tell just who is who.
