DRAMATIC MOMENT IN “BETRAYED”

An infuriated Victor Mature vents his anger on Lana Turner in a scene from “Betrayed” a new drama from M-G-M with Clark Gable heading the cast and Louis Calhern co-starred. Adventurous story of the Dutch Resistance during World War II, the picture in color is the first to have been filmed almost in its entirely in Holland.

Clark Gable and Lana Turner appear together for the fourth time in "Betrayed,” M-G-M's adventure ro­mance, filmed in color on locations in Holland and England.

They first teamed in “Honky Tonk" tn 1941 and followed with “Some­where I'll Find You” in 1942 and “Homecoming” in 1948

Victor Mature and Louis Calhern also star in “Betrayed,” which un­folds an action-filled story of the Dutch Resistance in World War II and a romance between an espionage chief and a girl whom he comes to believe to be a traitor.
