One day, suddenly and mysteriously, these bachelors are found to have acquired a baby boy. None of the neighbourhood people knows where It comes from. Torrents of talk and speculation result into deep suspicion of some scandal. Some even try to find out links between the baby and the bachelors with an new tenant, a young woman named Lee Wei just moved in.

So their scheme of taking turns to sit with the baby faills utterly.

The bachelors soon discover her liking of the baby, and learn that something tragic had happened to her sometime ago causing her loss of job. That day, finding Sheng again absent in the office with a lame excuse, she calls on their home unexpectedly. Sheng, nursing the baby, is caught and in the spur of moment invents some most wonderful lies in his life to escape her wrath.
Finally, Lee is persuaded by Fu to care for the baby for a while, anyway. The Bachelors are overjoyed, and planned to give a neighbourly party for celebrating the Baby's "Hundred-day” birthday. Everything is set, but at the last moment they discover the baby is missing.
