THE ANGEL
Synosis
Having debated with a furious-manner in Women's Day meeting, Angel, a pretty young girl, criticizes the unequal law of the Ching Dynasty which admitted the Chinese males are able to have concubine legally. Mrs. Wong, the leader of Women Society, and the wife of Angel's boss, stands on her side undoubtly.
In hearing about this speech in broadcast. Angel's boss, Wong Dah Lung, the general manager Dah Lung Co., is very up set to his stuff who has dared to say such thing against his private affair, and tries to find some reason to fire her even though she is his secret concubine Annie's younger sister.
Shew Ching, Angel’s lover, who is working with her in the same company, and is living in the house of his uncle, Young Sze Ching, the manager, has been unsatisfactory about his aunt Mrs. Young for she is a good for nothing woman.
One day Angel has found out her sister Annie is the secret concubine of his boss, then deserted with her and also resigned her job from Dah Lung Co., but no sooner she finds another job as a tutor, with the help of Mrs. Wong, and discovers the secret of her former boss. Under the control of Mrs. Wong, she intimidates her boss to let Annie free and have real love.
Annie and her former lover Cheung Chee as well as Angel and Shew Ching are together going to the chruch under the sound of the weedding bell. But Mrs. Wong can’t join their party as she is now in trouble, because she is found out also a cocubine of Wong Dah Lung by his real wife.
