大戯台

暢音閣大戲台,在故宮寧壽宮後面閱是樓院中,爲"三重崇樓",建於乾隆三十七年(1772年)。三十年來暢音閣從未對外開放,《垂簾聽政》却獲許在暢音閣拍攝了咸豐壽宴羣臣,在大戲台看戲的壯觀塲面。
Changyin Pavilion, the opera stage, is inside Yueshi Court behind Ningshau Palace in Ancient Palace. It is also called the ‘Three-storeyed Building’ built in 1772. Changyin Pavilion has not been opened to the public for thirty years. But, with special permission, the scene in which the Emperor is feted with a banquet and opera on his birthday was shot here.
養心殿
"養心殿"建於明朝,雍正年間重修,康熙皇帝死後,成爲雍正皇帝的寢宮和處理政務的地方。同治皇帝登基,兩宮太后垂簾聽政就在這裏。李翰祥導演拍下了難得的垂簾聽政的塲面。
‘Yangxin Hall’ was built in the Ming Dynasty and refurbished in the year of Yongzheng. After the death of Emperor Kangxi, it became the place of rest and administration for Emperor Yongzheng. When Emperor Tongzhi ascended the throne, this became the cite of ‘Reign behind a Curtain’ by the two Empress Dowager. The solemn depiction of actually "reigning behind a curtain" in the film were shot here.
梓宮回鑾
Imperial funeral procession back to Beijing
咸豐皇帝死於熱河行宮,引起了淸朝這一塲你死我活、勾心鬥角的權力之爭。梓宮回鑾(即護送皇帝靈柩回北京皇宫)途中,肅順暗派殺手,慈禧早有防備。在威嚴肅穆的送靈背後,演出了驚心動魄的格殺。
皇帝靈棺由一百二十八人肩抬,護送儀杖浩浩蕩蕩,《垂簾聽政》影片,以眞實的藝術手法 ,再現了淸代這一難能一見的國喪盛况。
Emperor Xianfeng's death at the temporary palace at Rehe triggered a struggle for power in the imperial court from which only one emerged the victor. On the funeral procession to Beijing, Sushun sent assassins to attempt to kill Cixi, but the latter had anticipated this. The assassination attempt was carried out amid the solemnity of the funeral procession.
'Reign behind a Curtain' realistically re-creates the extravagance of the imperial funeral ceremony. The Emperor’s coffin was borne by a funeral troop of 128 people.

Enthronement
咸豐皇帝駕崩,同治皇帝繼位,李翰祥導演,借同治登基這塲戲,一個早晨,從午門到神武門,從西宮到東宮,以太和 殿、中和殿、保和殿三大殿爲主,拍全了整座故宮的塲景。眞是蔚爲壯觀!
Emperor Tongzhi ascended to the throne after the death of Emperor Xianfeng. In the enthronement scene, director Li Hanchiang, in the span of a morning, rushed from the Wu Gate to the Shenwu Gate and from the West Palace to the East Palace in the Ancient Palace. The actual halls in which the Empress Dowager gave audiences, the Taihe, Zhonghe and Baohe Halls, were used as the film's spectacular main sets.
