The Story
Beautiful Lan-Ian, beloved daughter of a business firm's assist nt manager, is also a cousin of young interne Chu Siu-wun. Having secretly joined a Drama Club, her acting is being acclaimed by her director who promises to make her the star of his play. Lan-Ian has asked Robert to teach her The cha-cha dance. This is soon found out by Chu who tips her father to keep a close watch of her.
It is when Lan-Ian is reading her lines inside her room that has arisen the suspicion of Chu, especially when he finds out certain medicine for abortion in ner room and a book about pregnancy. Chu thinks that perhaps Lan-Ian already has had an affair with Robert. He persuades her to tell her secret to hor parents, and she reluctantly promises thinking that Chu was talking about her secret participation in the Drama Club.
Meantime, Robert is a young hooligm having a sec re t romance with a Wong Mi-mi He even incites Mi-mi into stealing some public funds and just as they are trying to hide in anapartment, they are seen by a broker Wong.
On the day of her first performance, Lan-Ian succeds in sneaking out from house but by a mistake she takes away the bag Mi-mi has been carrying with her stolen money.
