Location of Disembarkation
Today, the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park is located at the same place where Dr. Sun Yat-sen used to disembark on multiple occasions in the past.

The Joy of Achievement
As the statue mainly portrays Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s return to Hong Kong after the success of the revolution, the surface of the statue exhibits a sense of joy, symbolizing the spirit of those who persevere and achieve their goals.

Aligning with Sunlight
After conducting on-site observations, Mr. Chu Tat-shing decided to slightly turn the head of the statue towards the right. This adjustment was made to enhance the effect of sunlight when it shines on the statue, particularly during sunset.
