上海灘大亨（故事）

　　江浙某小鎮，龍蛇混雜，汪洪為首的一幫流氓，寫娼聚賭，無法無天。王進勇善＂擒拿手＂，和張虎森患難相交，情同手足，二人落魄於小鎮，無所視事。汪洪賞識王之武功，欲收為手下，但王不甘與之同流合污而拒絕。

　　一日，小偷徐阿三扒得汪洪錢包，被王責以大義，急令送還。豈料，汪洪持勢凌人，將阿三毒打，王和張聞訊，趕往營救，衝突中錯手打死汪洪手下，而逼得逃亡往上海，再作打算。

　　二人見到上海的繁華，決心闖一番事業，惟前途茫茫，混飯吃尚且不易，逼得暫在碼頭當苦力為生，王又不值地痞范阿頭欺詐所為，挺身而出與惡棍周旋，打得范等只好與王和談。設下陷阱，但王張機智不中圈套，反將范等大敗。范之手下均根早存野心，乘亂將范殺之，王不值陶之所為而驅出門外。

　　王從此領導起手下練武功，以保護本身利益及鞏固地位。各路梟雄見王勢力日漸壯大，紛紛與王談判，願臣服於王。自此，王成為上海法租界响噹噹的大亨。

　　王處事極重江湖道義，與張之自私想法矛盾，使張愈來愈不滿。一次，張因貪圖厚利，為了陶均根與王起衝突，不念兄弟之情向王出手，並提出分家，不顧而去，王不禁暗然嘆息。

　　曾受過王悶氣的陶均根，仍懷恨在心，今乘王、張不和，從中向張挑撥，並引見英租界大亨林建時。張經不起林之甜言蜜語及財色之誘惑，暗裡投靠了林。

　　王的勢力愈來愈大，與林的利益衝突日益尖銳，林為了除對頭勁敵，老謀深算，先從張口中探出其殺手鐧為“擒拿手”設下豪門宴滅之。

　　王帶張阿三赴宴，張裝得若無其事。宴會中，林施毒計，先傷王手，以減其“擒拿手”威力，早已埋伏之手下，一舉向王襲擊，王負傷應敵，阿三拔刀相助，被張所殺。王勸張勿因利忘義，但張心想必要除掉王，才能稱霸上海，為了做大亨美夢，不顧道義及手足之情，反向王進攻。

"BIG BOSS OF SHANGHAI"

Wang Hung was the head of a gang in a small town between Chit Kong and So Chau Province. Most of the prositution and gambling business was under his control. Wong Chun Yung and Cheung Fu Sum were expert gamblers. They were both jobless and always hanged around like brothers. Wang admired Wong's martial arts technique "CLUTCH HAND" and wanted to recruite him. However, Wong was disgusted at his behavior and refused.

One day, pickpocket Tsui gave a stolen wallet to Wong but was urged to return it back to the owner, Wang. In return, Tsui was beaten up by Wang. Wong and Cheung came to the rescue and accidentally killed one of Wang's men. They had no choice but fled to Shanghai.

The prosperity of Shanghai was a shock to them, but Wong decided to build himself up. Scoundrel Fan always bullied the labourers at the pier where they worked. They stood up for those and defeated Fan. Seeing of no match with Wong, Fan set an ambush to kill Wong and Cheung, but was murdered by his man Tao, who always intended to take up Fan's position. Wong could not accept him, so he fled.

At the memorial service, Wong started a lead in practising martial arts to protect oneself. This act arouse a lot of followers. Through his wisdom and martial arts skills, many other gangsters turned to be his followers. He became a reputable big boss of Shanghai under the French leased territories.

Meanwhile, Cheung was jealous of Wong's growing power. In despite of their relationship, he wanted to split up. Tao though defeated by Wong, took this chance to revenge. He persuaded Cheung to go for another big boss, Lam, of the British leased territories. The seduction was a success and Cheung was to betray Wong.

Lam decided to kill Wong because of his growing power. A banquet was held to trap Wong. Cheung acted as usual and went with Wong and Tsui to the party. During which Lam hurt Wong's hand on purpose in order to cut down his power in "CLUTCH HAND". Then Wong was attacked by the ambush. Tsui tendered his help but was killed by Cheung. Even though Wong tried to advise Cheung not to be a traitor for self benefit, yet Cheung was overwhelmed by aggression to get Wong's position.

After a vigorous struggle, Wong proved himself to be the winner and deserved to be the only big boss of Shanghai!
