Altmetrics: How your publications are being shared?
Based on a recent survey on faculty’s research needs, a key need identified was help in promoting research. Responding to that, Hong Kong Baptist University Library wants to talk about altmetrics, visibility and how researchers can monitor how their publications are being shared and accessed.
This library workshop and discussion is for those who want to know more about:
- quantification, and how technology is driving it
- tools and ways to track publication usage, beyond citation
- how librarians can help you get an accurate picture of your publication use
These workshops are aimed at academic researchers, such as faculty and postgraduate students.
